Review & Proof CollectionSet up AI verification

What you are setting up

AI verification checks each submission automatically and decides whether it passes, needs your review, or fails. Setting it up is two decisions:

  1. Workspace policy: turn the engine on, and choose whether verified rewards go out on their own or wait for you.
  2. Per-campaign setting: keep AI verification on or off for a given campaign.

You need an Owner or Admin role to change these settings. For the full picture of how scoring works, see How AI verification works.

Workspace settings

Open Settings > AI Verification. This page holds the policy for the whole workspace.

  • AI Verification (On/Off): the master switch. When it is on, every campaign can use the engine. When it is off, verification is skipped and every submission in every campaign goes to manual review.
  • Reward release: what happens to the reward once a submission is verified. Two options:
    • Hold for human approval (Human in loop) (default): verified rewards wait in Rewards → Activity until you release them. This keeps a person in the loop on every payout.
    • Release automatically on verified: the reward is queued for delivery as soon as a submission is verified, with no extra step.
    • This choice applies to AI-verified submissions only. A reward you approve manually always releases; there is no hold on a manual approval.
  • Usage: a running count of submissions processed by AI verification so far.

We recommend leaving Reward release on Hold while you build confidence in the engine, then switching to automatic release once you trust the verdicts.

Campaign settings

Each campaign can decide for itself. On the campaign’s Rewards step, a footer reads “AI verification: Submissions are auto-verified by AI as they come in. Inherits your workspace settings” with an On/Off switch.

  • The switch defaults On and inherits the workspace state.
  • Turn it Off for a single campaign to send that campaign’s submissions straight to manual review, while other campaigns keep using the engine.

How the two levels interact

The workspace switch always wins:

  • Workspace off: AI is disabled everywhere. The campaign control is locked off, no matter what a campaign says. Every submission goes to manual review.
  • Workspace on: each campaign decides for itself. A campaign with AI off skips the engine; a campaign with AI on uses it.

What happens after you turn it on

Once AI verification is on for a campaign, new submissions are handled automatically:

  • Verification is scheduled the moment a submission arrives. Nobody has to start it.
  • It does not run instantly. A short waiting period (a 2-day cooldown by default) runs first, and the submission sits as Pending in the Need action tab. No reward can go out during the cooldown. This filters out throwaway content that is posted just to grab a reward and then deleted.
  • After the cooldown, the engine scores the submission and routes it: auto-verified, sent to your queue, or auto-rejected.

You do not configure the cooldown, the score bands, or the per-platform rules; they are built into the engine. To act on what the engine produces, see Review and act on submissions.
